Hello, Welcome to Inspiring Sound

    Thank you for checking out my blog, I'm happy to have you. I would like to start with a bit about me, so you know what you are going to find here.

    I am an aspiring music journalist, avid reader, cat mom and a twin. I enjoy being outside and finding adventures, especially in Alaska. Typically though, if you don't find me with my nose in a book, you will find me with my hands on a guitar or sitting in front of my record player. 

    Music has always been my passion; it makes me cry, grin from ear to ear and feel comforted. When I was younger, my dad would trade off taking us girls to work with him on the weekends. During this time, he would teach me about the power of music and I have never forgotten what we talked about. 

    Growing up, I often sat in front of the TV watching different music documentaries and taking notes over the ones I found the most entertaining. This is why I have decided to pursue music journalism and now to share that love with you.

    Inspiring Sound provides me a "creative outlet" to not only share my love of music with others, but also educate on influential bands.
